Decided to shoot to San Diego over the weekend and check out the USS Midway. Really cool aircraft onboard. Ill dig the photos off the proper camera and put an album up. But until then....

Been here for a little over a week. Fly out tomorrow. Working outside LA most of the time. Just shot to SD for the weekend.

Neat! ... and welcome to SD! I went when the Midway museum opened but haven't gone back to see the changes. I need to do that soon.

Thanks! The ship was cool, but im an aircraft nut at heart. So thats where most of the excitement was for me. The whole thing was very well done though. And for the $20 entrance fee, well worth it.

Fighter jets are cool and all (thats why I drive a Saab, you know), but to me they can't match the raw, mechanical, analogue coolness of these WWII aircraft.
Oh, and the F4U Corsair prop is HUGE.
